Rocket Pool Principles
It would be much easier to accomplish the mechanics of pooling ETH for minipools if one were to have a single controlling entity to run the nodes and secure the keys. However, that is not aligned with principles of Ethereum since such a centralized entity would threaten both stakers and the blockchain health.

The main barriers, at the moment, in upholding these principles is the existence of the oDAO and pDAO guardian. Steps are being taken to minimize and eventually eliminate the impact of these. More on that in lesson 7.
